I couldn't resist this one. I tried to remove rust carefully to bring out the struck "Billings & Spencer Co." Gotta love that 2022 for coincidence.
No matter how much you cut off, it's still too short

Thanks!  I have the replacement cord, now I have to make time to work on it.
