German Perfect Handle Style Screwdriver
« on: April 10, 2022, 05:56:03 PM »
This screwdriver came from my recent $5 rust buy.  Made in Germany probably pre WWII.  It has led a toughlife with mushrooming on the butt of the handle and a huge gouge in the shaft.  I removed the rust and.paint on the metal.  Time for it to rest a while in a nice dry toolbox instead of the rusty postflood box where I found it.

You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

that would be a "perfekter Griff Schraubendreher."  Or at least that's what Google Translate thinks.  Nice find.

Nice find!! I have seen a Ryan, and Merit brand, possibly Pexto too, with the hex shank at the bottom of the handle!! Nice rescue, great job on the cleanup!!
