Estate Sale Feb 12, 2022
« on: February 12, 2022, 10:25:18 PM »
Today’s estate sale buys.  Lots of NOS or almost NOS tools and some nice rust.  Price per piece was around $2.50.  17 pounds.   So many great items Craftsman, Stanley, Thorsen, Barcalo, diamond, Crescent, Penncraft, Mossberg, HD Smith and others.

Nice haul.  I don't spy the Thorsen involved unless it is the flex head ratchet.

Nice lot!  I like the 18 Diamond and the small adjustables at bottom left.  Would like to see close-ups.  Also the adjustable under the 6"  Diamalloy - is that a pipe wrench or a nut/bolt wrench?.  And what make is the 4" adjustable? Good haul!

Hi AL,

The 6 incher under the Diamalloy is a Gellman Polly. It is a nut bolt adjustable.  The two 4 inch adjustables are a 9913 Penncraft and 704 Proto.

Lots of pictures coming.

Nice haul. Does the "Ford" wrench have the Ford script logo?  Quiz>>> Do you know what the square lug on the end of the handle is used for?

Yes it has a script Ford and some original paint.  Not sure about the end, but someone smart will wander by and enlighten us before I can Google it.

Ford 9 1/2 Auto Wrench. Script Ford logo.  The M is I believe for Moore Drop Forge the manufacturer.  The extension from the bottom is for the oil drain plug.

Diamond Horseshoe C718, 18 inch smooth jaw adjustable wrench.  Per Alloy Artifacts the “No Hammering” warning indicates a manufacture date around 1983 or later. No marks on the jaws. Probably never used.
