Two odd items from work...
« on: January 20, 2022, 09:34:55 PM »
Came across these while cleaning and sorting suff in the shop.  The first item is about 7 inches long.  The tines, if that's what they are, rotate; except the two inner tines can only move 90 degrees as shown in the last photo with one at the upper limit and one at lower limit.  The bar has a flat strip on one side only which doesn't seem to have a purpose.
The bottom photo is larger tool, over a foot long, which appears to mount on a 1" (approx) pipe.  The pipe is cut off and the stub inside resembles electrical conduit.

The first item is most likely a anti-kickback device for some type of power saw.

Thanks.  I'll take a look at the saw in the shop (I haven't used it yet).  I'll see if that piece fits on there.

( Edit 1/22)  And yes the saw in the shop is a radial arm saw.

As Lewill2 stated, for a power saw, most likely on a Radial Arm Saw.
