Craftsman, something different
« on: October 10, 2021, 06:11:35 PM »
I call this a gimmick wrench, never seen one before, couldn't turn it down for $1.00.  Has 8 SAE sizes and 8 metric sizes and the ends swivel around and lock in place.  Cannot be too common, most likely Taiwan as it does not say USA.

It was a 1996 patent [ https://pdfpiw.uspto.gov/.piw?Docid=05557992 ]. Sears called it ROTO-WRENCH -- don't know what would-be users called it.

Better than no wrench at all. I would have brought it home for a dollar.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

Where did you find that?  According to the markings in the first photo, it won't be made for another 27,000 years!
