Pliers from part of a box lot
« on: July 28, 2021, 03:12:23 PM »
I didn't have these three so decided to keep them. Top is Japan and has a hole in the front and also the side and as I remember made for the single wire clip on auto water hoses.  Middle is a Utica level jaw (I have several Sargent level jaw pliers and the original Bernard type but had never seen a similar Utica).  Bottom is a no name but nicely made with a different type of slide for the slip joint----anyone know who might have made it?

I think the Utica in the middle is a No. 402.

Oh, dang!  I used to have a pair of pliers like the bottom one but can't remember if there was a maker's name!

This looks like it has a similar slide for the slip joint. Opening is oval shaped with an internal flat spring. Mine are stamped DRCM ( B A Britwoods could be an owner's mark )  Made in Germany ( I think Britwoods is one word)
