Back in the day when C-man finally decided to get into the reversible male ratchet game, they turned to Vlchek and rebranded their 1/2" SWWR10 as the Craftsman BT. It was a distinctive ratchet in that the selector lever passed through the shank. Seldom found in the wild.
But my comment is about the Vlchek's little brother, the 3/8" that never became a Craftsman, the WSLR6.
What a pretty little ratchet--and unique, as well. The selector is captured in the shank and slides up and back rather than side to side. Finally got mine yesterday. What a beauty. Notice that the domed screws do not pass through the opposite side, giving it a pleasant appearance.
Both were manufactured for only a short time before Craftsman turned to New Britain and the BE and H Circle ratchets.
