Grinder for removing excess resin
« on: September 30, 2020, 01:58:05 AM »
Dear all,
I am an amateur carpenter, and recently I came up with an idea to combine wood with epoxy resin. I read on the internet that in order to grind down the excess resin I have to use abrasive discs with a grade of at least 6000 and a sander with a power of at least 1000W to achieve a desired effect. Since I have found only the Powermat and Kraft&Dele grinders in online stores, I would like to ask for your opinion about those tools or possible suggestions for something else. I do not have any experience with this type of grinders. So far I have been grinding by hand or with a tiny oscillating sander. I will be grateful for any help.

I know nothing about using resin.

I am sure there are videos on Youtube that will get you the info you need.
