A pretty good day.
« on: July 25, 2019, 10:26:53 PM »
Came home loaded today.  Not from drinking; from buying.

1/2" unmarked Indestro/Duro female rat w/ selector
1/2" Snap-on 71M rat
3/8" modern Snap-on rat
Modern 3/8" C-man rat
1/2" Indestro No. 3275 round head rat
8" Scholler adjustable wrench
4" Crestoloy adjustable wrench
8" Universay Wrench Co adjustable wrench with lever handle (1919 patents)
8 1/2" Eivel Plierench-47
6" C-man vanadium diagonal cutters
Unmarked? Snap-on 60 C needle nose pliers (1943)
9/16" Plomb pebble combo
5/8 X 11/16" WF 82 Plomb DBE
1/2" Proto LA spinner with swivel head
1-2" chrome C-Man BE socket
3/4 X 25/32" Lectrolite Defiance Ohio DBE No. 4004 (didn't know they made a 400X series of Defiance wrenches.  But they did.)
9" Unmarked brass lined woodworker's square--complete w/ rusty blade and splotches of red and white paint....
And for Mrs. Northwoods, I got a 2 gallon stoneware crock from Pittsburg, KS, the scene of my alma mater, and the home of the Gorillas.

It was a very good day.  I know; no pix; use your imagination and the Google machine.

The ORIGINAL Northwoods.

About that Lectrolite Defiance Ohio wrench---

Have any of you seen one like this?

3/4 LECTROLITE CORP-DEFIANCE OHIO. U.S.A. 25/32

05 CHROME    05 VANADIUM    4004

All lettering is stamped, not forged into a lightly raised field.  It is much like the usual Lectrolite Defiance O No. 3004 in general shape and length, but the shank is very slightly heavier.

Do you suppose this one is older or newer?
