Catching Up From When "The Lights Were Off"
« on: May 22, 2011, 07:42:59 AM »
Documenting the rest of the wrenches I've scrounged up while the forum was in sleep mode.  This first photo is mostly no-name stamped wrenches.  There's a couple of Fords, John Deere, Willys/Overland, Kastars, Wakefield, and a Watson Stabilator, whatever that is. One wrench says HIT on it, I think it was a 12mm OE.  Most of these were in bundles of 6-8 for .50-$1.00, so how could I go wrong??
If anyone knows what some of these funky tools are for, I'd gladly accept the feedback

Thanks

This  next photo is primarily from the Waverly estate sale.  Top row:  Chrome  X, Williams,VLCHEK,Mystery Wrench, Link Belt, Penens Drift punch,Billings Spencer,Advance Brand slot, Defiance, Excelite S-144,Oxwall
Lower Row: Enderes, USS(?), Western Auto, VLCHEK, Irwin 300-24(?), Jordan(?) German-made, Irwin, Crescent/Bridgeport,2 more mystery Wrenches, Plomb Slotted with a metal sleeve on the top(factory?), and a Plomb drift/punch.  Both of the Plombs have the O in them instead of the upside down triangle, so they must be early ones.

This is mostly from yard sales.  Gave $15 ea. for the Airco regulators and I think my son will get these for his birthday, along with a "shopping spree" through most of what's been photographed here over the last week or two.
Top row: Wards Lakeside, Handyman(Stanley?), a #110 Plane, and s US made no name midget plane.
Bottom Row:Stanley Two tone, Wards Master,Craftsman(blade part number is 187.37051 if that helps date it)

The estate sale sockets, now that they're out of the vinegar(yes, I did built a battery charger vat, just haven't filled it with water and soap yet).

A few snap on/P&C/Indestro and the 1/2" drive(9/16"?) stash has no name.  The hex drives don't have logos either, but the Hinsdales(group with the double female U-joint) have their circle H logo.  Some hex drives that also were no names.
