Nice job on the stump, Lou.  I will definitely display mine the same way.

I think you'll find that when you get to the bottom of the hill you'll have plenty of company!  lol

Unfortunately I also fell down that hill. While I’ve sold quite a few, I still have over 20.
You have to be a little careful with these since there are some coming out of China that are not old. A lot of them have names cast in the side, like Perdue and John Deere. Like most of their junk the castings are rough, the letters may not be aligned properly, and the shapes are kind of strange looking.
I passed on a miniature Hay-Budden once because I just wasn’t sure and the price at the auction was over $100. It was just stamped on the bottom rather than on the side.

I'm waiting to get to that bottom - I'm still sliding and gaining speed.

There's a bottom to these slopes?  I just figured they kept going forever, until they encountered a black hole, into which the person sliding on the slope disappeared, shouting, "But I need just one more!!!"

Exactly! When I first started I assumed there was a bottom, and that it wasn't far below me. But the older I get, the steeper the slope gets. No bottom in sight yet.
