Middle of the gauge looks like 40 is that psi?

i think for ol'timey white gas range top stoves.  i got 1 similar from a coleman stove.

I don't know about gas pumps.  If not that, maybe a vacuum pump?  What happens when you operate it?  Does it move air in or out?  The T handle valve may be to release the vacuum.

heres 1 i have, gauge is very similar.  I don't have any pipe fittings that large though.

White gas stove? hmmm I've seen a kerosene one with glass storage bottles.
What kind of pressure would the gasoline be under?

Back in the late 30's early 40's my parents had a white gas kitchen stove.  You would pump it up and the pressure was self regulated, seems it was not much.

MBG, white gas = coleman fuel, not explosive as what we think of gasoline 2day.

I remember gas stations still selling white gas in the 1960's. Bulk oil in glass bottles also.
