Mayhew Punch and Chisel help
« on: September 16, 2018, 04:36:03 PM »
I have a couple of canvas tool rolls by Mayhew with punches and chisels.
Most tools have patent dates of 1913, so the rolls are likely ca. WWI era.
I don't know exactly which tools are correct.

Does anybody have access to, or can direct me to, a reference to these sets?
Possibly in a hardware or tool or mill supply catalog from, say, 1915-1925?

Thanks

I would have liked to provide Mayhew reference material. I just don’t have access to much. Maybe try these links.

Here are some Mayhew punches from my WW2 GMTK. I picked up the box and tried some Starrett punches in it to see what it might have once contained.
