I picked up a Record 52 1/2 this weekend that looks unused. Bought a Wilton Mechanics vise at yard sale next door to the Record also.

Tomorrow I'm going to buy that emmert vice I posted from CL. What should I look for? Cracks, welds, common problems? Does it appear complete in the pictures, missing parts? Thanks for all the help. I'm not exactly sure what I'm getting into but everyone here speaks highly of them.

Nevermind my last post. What's done is done :) Thanks for setting me straight on the Emmert, though. I had zero idea it might be something I wanted. Funny how that happens.

I may have hi-jacked my own thread and I would like to get this back on track....

Does anyone recognize this stamp/maker, or know what the numbers "10 B" and "3 B" might be in reference to?
