Hi guys. Is there an Ipad friendly way to post photos? Found out a while back that they must be cropped way down to pretty much nothing which basically makes no sense. Is than an Apple thing?

Hi 3bay
I'm not ipad proficient but here's what I can tell you. I , using a size converter, change the pic to 800 x 600 and 72 dpi and that ususally gets it small enough to post without giving up too much in size.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks Bill. Wish there was a way to do that but I don’t see one. Just saw this is a problem dating back years in that photo sticky. Apple always has to be different.

There is a free app for iPads called Photo Compress.  Open the app.  Click on the big plus mark the choose your photos. Change the image quality and size reduction until the photos are an acceptable size for posting.  Really easy.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

I do everything with the iPad, don't own a computer or camera. I got the free "Minima" app. I take pics, then open the app, go to photos, then tap on the pics I want to use. The app resizes photos to something that works and puts the resized one back in your photo album. I don't know what size they are to begin with but too big for this forum.
