Tool Boxes
« on: July 13, 2018, 11:59:47 AM »
Thought i would post some old tool boxes I have picked up over the years.   The first one must have belonged to a machinist (my guess from 50 years ago) who lived in the house and must have passed.   Think his wife moved out and left the box and a few tools there.   Wish now i had kept everything, but wasn't smart enough back then.
The micrometer set was in the tool box.   One of these days i should re-finish the drawers.   they were in pretty sad shape.

The big box had tools in almost every drawer and included the Starrett set shown.
the 1st box is like the one above, but much cleaner

A few of the things either left in the boxes or currently stored there.

Sometimes at garage sales I find one or two good tools in the boxes and wait till the end to make an offer.
