No, simple machines is the name of the forum software, nothing to do with the hosts that pooched the puppy. 

What's there looks like a fresh installation of the forum without any of the configuration needed to turn it into home.  If Rusty has any backups of the old forum this could be the first step at an attempt to restore data and accounts.  Fingers crossed!

There are now two Garage Gazettes. It might be wise to register on both so that you will be on whichever one becomes the real one.
