ANCO WIPER ARM TOOL
« on: November 07, 2011, 05:20:53 PM »
I found this Wiper arm tool in my garage the other day.And to be honest I have no clue to where I acquired this. This is a  TEL - TALE Wiper Arm Pressure Indicator by Anco.I thought it was pretty neat.I wasn't aware that you could adjust the wiper arm tension or if you just replaced the spring or whole arm.

I remember these at gas stations, (remember them?) and garages, a good point of sale tool.   Really convinced the driver that their wipers were sub par.

I'm no spring chicken but I never realized wiper tension was adjustable. I do remember vacuum wipers though.

Fins,

I still have a vehicle with vacuum wipers.  I'm shopping for a 12 volt electric motor replacement.
