Anyone know about how old it is? Value ??

Hello, Sudsy. Stanley had more than one division, Stanley Tools, Stanley Electric Works, and your label reads Stanley Hardware. From what I have read, Paumelle is French for hinge, or possibly a type of hinge. I am guessing you have a specialized hinge jig, or, hinge template. The photo shows a similar tool still in production. I have also provided the link, in case the photo is not clear.
Regards, Lou

It's a mortising jig for a Paumelle style hinge. probably 1960's. No idea on value
A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

Yes that is what it is, a router template for doing the mortice for a paumelle hinge (most incredibly expensive hinges you've ever seen !!)
Thank you for the cat. page
