MVWC fall meeting

Anyone heard or seen anything about a catalog of wrenchs for the fall 2017 meeting. I'm getting nervous.

I have 7 files, 6 are pictures and one is the descriptions of the lot numbers. That many files because the pictures are that high of resolution.

You can go to the Baxter website and follow the links to the listing and pictures but the listing shows up weird because it is centered text and the lot numbers run together. The pictures are individual. You can copy and past the pictures to a word document and then print them but it will take about 50 pages for just the pictures. The listing can be copied and pasted to a word document but you still have to edit the document so each lot is on a separate line. I had to copy the documents by right click hold down and scroll through the whole document so it is highlighted, copy and paste to a new page.

Me too. I just wondered if a catalog was forthcoming. I'll wait for Bus's posting. A wrench auction with no catalog is kinda like a root canal with no novacaine.

I emailed Baxter this morning and they replied that they were hit by a lightening strike last week that wiped them out and their website is down until probably next week. The only thing they have up is the Auction Zip link with pictures. The list is only available in the PDF document that I have if you want it PM me your email address or wait until Buss gets it up on the Wrenching News website.

(https://sites.google.com/site/mvwcarchive/Home/2017-fall-meeting) is a newly composed sub-page within the MVWC.ORG web site that has downloadable files for the Saturday catalog listing & all the images for the Friday box lots & Saturday cataloged  lots.  Also a meeting registration form which provides the address, etc.

If you plan to print, have lots of paper & ink on hand.  The Saturday catalog list is 18 pages, the four sets of associated images print out on 40 pages & the two files of Friday box lots total 78 pages.

I've agreed with Dan Gaier to field absentee bid requests, but will not be doing the wrapping, shipping, billing etc. as we will be going from Indianapolis to visit our grandkids in Poughkeepsie, NY before coming home again.  Stan S.
