Wood Handle Screwdriver
« on: September 21, 2017, 04:37:25 PM »
Hello, I am still putting away stuff from the spring, and I came across this one. On the hex area of the shank, just below the handle is a stamp. MER ? ?  I am unable to make out what I am guessing are the last 2 letters. Also 8"at bottom left, and to the bottom right are two more symbols, letters or numbers , I am not sure. Thanks, Lou

Hello, guys. Thanks for the info. I also have a similar style PEXTO, I believe it has the same hex under the handle. Any connection?  Thanks, Lou

I never knew Merit was connected to Sears. I believe I have a set of ignition wrenches with that name.
