$20 in Texas
« on: July 17, 2017, 09:44:43 PM »
Having seen what $5 buys I'm almost embarrassed to post this buy.

There's a Plumb 1228 and 1226. A Miller Falls 772 with bits. A Stanley 110 block plane and other nice bits and bobs.

Not to worry.  Bargains are bargains.  There are parts of the country where prices are lower and tools are plentiful; and places where that's not true.  You did fine.

Heck yeah, that looks like a nice assortment for the money
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

I think you did great. That bayonet scabbard if genuine is worth at least 1/2 of what you spent.

Yeah, I am hoping to make my money back on the bayonet and Sheath. I have no use for it.
