More Flea Market & Estate Sale Finds
« on: May 21, 2017, 04:50:03 PM »
Hello, It was a good weather & good buying weekend here in CNY. On the left is a Union # 60 Adjustable Scraper Plane, back left is a Dial-A-Drill Index, back right is a Stanley 95 Edge Trimming Block Plane with ratty original box. Bottom left is a pretty common Presto Fire Extinguisher. Bottom right is a neat item, J Roe & Sons Inc. Demolition Charge Computing Tape. Regards, Lou

All very nice.  The demolition charge tape is a very interesting.  Used for calculating pounds of explosives for column diameter?

Definitely an interesting find.  I have been accumulating older books on diverse industrial or reference subjects lately,  would love to find something on blasting or demolition.  I wonder if the Audels books ever covered the subject?

If so, I'm sure the book reviews described the book as "Explosive!  A dynamite exposition of the trade!"

Some very nice items there.
