Goodness, have I been gone that long???????? I miss my wrench buddies, and as things happen with a bird... well, they can be quite flighty.
I spend much of my time in a more remote area then I'm already in up in the mountains with my friend. Time tends to get away from me, no cell phone reception here (hurray!!!!) ... Internet is spotty, at best . Anyhow, I haven't managed to sell off the 8 crates of tools yet. But, I think it's going alright... so far, I can pay my bills. I hope everyone is doing well and I miss you all.... even Ole cranky aunt Phil (haha).
So, of course I have a question. .... no means of posting a picture right now. I've wound up with 4 or 5 never slip "pipe tongs", "grappling tongs"..... I don't know much about them. I found a patent for the never slip horse co. Of boston. The tools look like they correspond to the patent date 7/6/75 by the inventor Samuel stone. It took me hours to get that far. I've got several of the same tool, and , yes, I still love my tools but will do my best to sell some of them. I couldn't find a listing, past or present on ebay. I finally found one listing. Anyhow, I've never seen them until the "mother ship of tools". Let me know if anyone has history info or price info. I love you all,
