These tools are used with wood handles and a T-rest on the lathe. They will cut a thread in plain stock, but need a little practice. They can also be used to repair old threads or adjust fits.

Looking for USA made ratchets-all sizes-drives and lengths  also S-K SuperKrome wrenches ditto.  Like to trade vs buy run it past me-nothing is cut in stone!

Ah, I see, they have the thread pitch stamped on them.

Man it seems like it would be tricky to cut a thread free-hand.
