KABAR Handyboy?

Marked KABAR, but sure looks like a Handyboy to me.  Came with a rigging knife and leather case.

I have one of those from when Epstein's was selling them. Not a bad knock-off.
Wrapped the handles in rubber tape and covered the driver tip with a rubber plug so it wouldn't jab me when in my pocket.

 Kabar is a good old company that made a well known fighting knife. The Kabar name supposedly came from a old trapper who killed an attacking bear after his gun jammed. His writing wasn't too good and bear became bar in his letter to the company. I would be pleased to own any tool with the Kabar name. Nice find.

Nice find on the KABAR. I was unaware they had a tool like that but I am familiar with the Diamond brand and some others. Just saw a Blue Point version online and that was a first for me as well.

KABAR is the real deal when it comes to knives. I have one of their WWII models.

Did a little more research on this find.  It is a Marine Mate by .  Made in the USA.  I did not think the knife was original that came in the leather case, but i was able to find a couple pictures on the net that showed this combination.
