Advertising Spark Plug Wrenches
« on: December 29, 2016, 09:10:06 PM »
I have these two wrenches.
Anyone know anything about them or of other similar wrenches?
Who made them and when?
Thanks
Tom

I know that v-ray plugs were made by m. m. m. m. Co. back in the mid teens. In the late teens the Stewart Warner Co. bought them out. As far as the wrenches,I'd be curious to know who made them too. I'm going to guess that the o in a square is a foundry mark but I don't recognize it, maybe someone else will.

Were the wrenches given away when you bought gas or had your car serviced ? I know in a Galaxy far, far away they had wooden gas tank dipsticks for Model T Fords that were advertising give away's. My good friend keeps finding them under the seats of some of his Model T's. In 100 years from now people will be talking about the orange 76 antenna balls. I have a spark plug socket and 3/8 extension marked Chevron. Probably something they sold at the gas station.
