Globemaster tools used to show up in the $1 bins at the auto parts store. I owned a few of their tools when I was young; never got the impression that I'd won the lottery.
I never realized they made anything in the U.S., and screw starters are simple things, easy enough to do right.
They're also very useful tools, although, in tight spots, I need to hold my breath when guiding the screw down into place. It's easy to knock the screw off the starter.
