Gamble's Auto Supply 1940. The 1940 Gamble's Auto Supply & Tool catalog offered adjustable wrenches under the Gamble's and Tiger brands, with both types recognizable as Diamond production. The Gamble's brand wrenches noted the use of drop forged steel with a black finish, and the Tiger brand wrenches featured chrome alloy steel with a triple-plated chrome finish. Both models were illustrated with hexagonal gullets and double-hex broached hanging holes. Wrenches were available in sizes 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, and 24 inches, with the 24 inch size only in the alloy steel (Tiger) model. This is currently our only catalog reference showing broached hanging holes for Diamond wrenches
