Well, I've flown away for awhile, as birds often do. I hope everyone is doing well. I've really done it this time. ..... I bought a total of 8 PALLETS OF TOOLS!!! .... and that's going to sound crazy even to this crew! and, yes, I bought most of the wrenches (I think I did, anyhow... maybe all of them) . ... once I had to unload them I wished I hadn't :) ! So, as one might imagine, it's been quite an ordeal. I finally got a truck to deliver them to the hardware store, and dear Danny got them off the truck with the forklift. After that, he brought up two pallets at a time and I unloaded them. I was informed by several persons that I couldn't unload them all into the house for fear the floor would cave.... I'm serious. All the wrenches are on the front porch. I've got three pallets on the bottom deck out back. Before they got here, I moved out the kitchen table and chairs, a bed, and other furniture into the shed to make room for the tools.
Dad's the one who jinxed me. As usual, it's his fault :)
"Bird, you can only fit but so many tools in your house, you know." Right. I'll keep that in mind. I told dad the furniture is out in the shed.
Dad asked, "Where are you going to eat?"
"I live alone, I eat on the couch."
"Where are we going to eat when we come over?"
"You don't come over."
"right."
SO, that's what I've been doing recently. They should last until spring.... of 2020 ! I've got tons of wrenches that I know nothing about-- a lot of implement wrenches, farm wrenches and what have you. And I promise I'll take some pictures soon! As luck would have it... or no luck at all.... my camera died. It's hard to make any money without pictures.... and I need to make A LOT of money to break even!!! Hopefully I will, but it will be a very long time!!!!
Pops is done with his radiation, they think that they got the cancer. I've done my best to keep dad in good spirits. Well, it's back to work! Love to all my wrench buddies
cheers
