CRESCENT DISPLAY FROM THE WEEKEND FLEA MARKET
« on: September 18, 2016, 04:39:09 PM »
It's been at the last 3 flea markets I've been selling at and i guess the guy finally wanted it gone. Came from the Horton Iowa General Store that was closed up back in the early 60's.  Heel Spur is getting first right of refusal, since he's the Crescent collector emeritus on this group, and since Noel doesn't have any interest in it, at least there's a better chance that Heel Spur can find some tools to fit on the board.  I may have already sent him a 1/2 speeder and some half inch sockets.  Photo makes it look bigger than it really is (24" tall and about 15" wide).
If someone else is interested, get in line boys and girls.....Noel may well have some interest in selling the 3 or so displays I got for him some years ago.  They are bringing stupid money at the few auctions I've been to over the last 5 years that have had any and most aren't in anywhere near as good of condition as the ones that Noel and I have.  There's only 3 of them on ebay right now.  One wonders how many different panels  there actually were??

I think I have seen at least 4 other panels for that display. I have not been trying to complete mine for quite a while and would consider selling it and the tools on it if anyone would be interested. I would have to list and photograph them.
