Folks,
I wanted to pass this along to you.  I've gained access to the archives and allowed to copy / scan pretty much any old trade catalogs I want.  I've already submitted my initial list and my first visit will be sometime next week but I'm sure I'll be making many trips.  I know you folks are into much older stuff than I'm focusing on and I can tell you they have a lot of old material.  If you find something you'd like scanned please copy the link to this thread and I'll add them to my future request list.  From this link you can search for any old trade catalogs in their inventory: http://collections.si.edu/search/results.htm?view=&dsort=&date.slider=&fq=object_type%3A%22Trade+catalogs%22&q=&tag.cstype=all

That is really neat! I had them scan a old Stiles-Herman flyer they are friendly but slow. You know I was meaning to ask you about.... Have you seen many "flyers" from tool companies for specialized tools? for an example Stiles-Herman sold the rights to Gray-Bonney to make and sell the fender rollers in Canada. They do not appear in the main catalogs but they exist. The S-H pliers and hammer do show in the main catalog.
