Starrett

I'm having a good time on Etsy this morning. I don't know what these are for but that much Starrett for $20 has to be good, doesn't it?

Definitely ID micrometers,   The price is outstanding,  if you have a need for them or want to resell them.

Is the rust not something to be concerned about on a precision instrument like that?

I wouldn't have worried about the rust as much as I worry about how he removed it.

Yes, as is gringing off several thousands trying to remove it, as is 60 years of wear...

Until they are checked against a reference, the $20 is about all they are worth, unless you are just collecting them because they look interesting...

Then they are worth whatever you think they are worth ; P
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
