Early battery pliers

Trying to identify my old battery pliers.
They are exactly like the one in this ebay ad.  Right down to the way the parts mate together and the number of teeth.  Except for the logo.  Mine have a large 15 mm. Indian-style arrowhead with the words    Taylor Ma-------   (Taylor Made??)
I am betting someone out there has these with a better imprint.

At the very least, they made stuff for Snap-On, and once Blue Point was established, they made most of that originally.  I'm pretty sure the earliest Cornwell rats are from MTF, and they might have had a hand in some early Blackhawk products, namely the ratchet forgings.  MTF was part of a larger merger forming Lectrolite in 1932, which you can read about here: http://toolarchives.com/node/793.  So, anything you find with MTF on it was made between 1917 and 1932.
