Wow.  Nice hoard of tools there.  Check out those figural planes and handsaw handles.  I wonder if there are any good deals.  I'd go check it out but 1,000 miles is a bit too far for me.

Looks like a few old saw sharpening shops I've seen back when people still sharpened saws.

Seems like every guy who retired to make a little and keep going with a Foley saw filer closed up when he had a shed full of saws nobody picked up. 
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance!

Reminds me of the man that sharpened our chain saw.  He had a shall shed in his back yard. It was full of saws and files. He sat in a chair with a small bench and a vise.  His hand were so knarled with arthritis he could barely hold a file, but he could sharpen a chain saw by hand in about 20 minutes andnit always cut straight no matter how bad it had been prior to sharpening.   Whenever he died they closed the shed.  It sat for years.
