Today at auction I saw this EB 123 wrench and bought the tool box it was in. Alas box had some other goodies.

photo 1     Stanley 5 1/2 and 8C planes
Planes were not in box( Had to leave for funeral) asked friend to bid for me while I was gone. Left instructions not over $35 On8c and $15 on 5 1/2. When I returned I was shocked to find that she had paid $5 for each of them. Ah well amateurs.

Shocked?  Try stunned.  What a great haul!

Here's the tools from a parts lists for the Esterly Co. of Whitewater, Wisc. that was in the June 2003 Missouri Valley Wrench Club Newsletter (submitted by club Secretary / Treasurer Clyde Ketelsen).  Notice there are two versions of your EB123 wrench.

There is more information in the Newsletter on the Esterly Company but it's copyrighted so I will email it to you.

The two " low knobbers" look pretty nice.  What type are they?

Man this retirement stuff is time consuming. Haven't had time to type them, but 8C has (Stanley Rule and Level on iron) You would think after 20 years of retirement that I would begin to get caught up but not so.
