I have his full name and address. I also have a phone number associated with that address and will try it later on this morning.

Buck -- I forwarded you the admin contact list and phone numbers to your corporate email account.

Yeah, just tried getting on this morning. Nothing. Then got re-directed to this thread.

I hope things are OK.

So nice to have another forum be a sounding board if a site goes down. None of us would know anything without it.
Many sites would probably get ruffled at the thought of dozens of member asking about some other forum on their page. Hat's off to Noel!

Good News!!!

Rusty got in touch and sent the following

" Ray the data center had a power feed go bad on one leg it dropped the network and the HVAC. They have been working on it for the past day. They've started to bring the servers back on line slowly. With the thousands of blade units they are doing ten racks letting temps stabilise and then doing ten more racks."

Looks like it's a technical problem at the data center and they are working on it --

go Rusty!!

Hey guys I've been up since 0700 yesterday watching the information come in from the data center. Rays email was lost in the flood yesterday I just found it a little bit ago and replied to it.

I usually remember to come over here to post a note when this kind of stuff happens. Must have had a brain dead moment since I totally forgot to this time.

From the information that has been dribbling in from the data center they had a bus go bad four floors below them. That ended up wiping UPS units and HVAC fans and compressors.

Initially when it started everyone thought it was just packet issues. Then the entire center went dark. What worries me is some of the tech have been up for over 36 hours now.

Tool Talk has always had a good relationship with GG and Rusty, and will continue to do so. We each have our own focuses and even when they are similar, we are not competitors, we are friends.

Gang,

Just found this thread after sending bonneyman a PM.  I haven't been able to get on the GG for 2 days; now I see it's not just me and others are aware of the problem too.

All this time I've been thinking the problem was on my end.
