Well, I have to take back some of what I have been saying about auctions on papawswrench.
Stopped by a little farm auction just yesterday and had some luck. Auction started at 1:00 and I was gone by 1:20. Bought one flat.
Contained a curved logo Craftsman hatchet circa 1927, a Craftsman version of the Buck Rogers Millers Falls push drill with the red Tenite cap, a nice 9-piece set of leather punches in a wrapper, a magnetic inclinometer, a hog ringer, and some other assorted nuts and bolts.
$2.50
The hatchet handle will require some TLC. It was held on by a steel wedge shimmed with leather and seven--no kidding--nails. Two of the nails were square.
