I saw this today, thought this forum might like it. I don't think you need to be a member on FB to see this.

That's kinda cool but I would rather buy beer with twist tops than modify old tools.

Yeah, bottle openers are not hard to come by.  You don't need to hack tools to make one.   If the tools were non-functional and you made a bottle opener , then OK you "recycled" it.
I like that red saw - what kind of saw was that?  And then it was followed by the file machine - what the heck kind of machine is that!?  I want one!

I cringed when the Kraeuter wrench and the perfect handle screwdriver were hacked up.
Oh well.

cutting up old tools to make another object is no different than taking an old car or truck and making it
 into a hot rod.

I cringe when I see a good pick-up being chopped.

I watch a lot of his videos on You Tube. He is a very talented mechanic, machinist, artist and wood worker.

But  he took an old car (dart) and crushed, cut, and smashed it into two display tables.

I watched several hours of his videos. I was entranced by all the high speed playback.

He's a little old school,  a little HF. But I like the way he thinks.

Finally, a tool I will NOT be collecting.

I have an old stamped metal can and bottle opener, and an opener on my Swiss Army knife. That'll do me just fine.
