First one of these I've seen and remotely remember it being tied to J.H Williams in some form or fashion. Bundled some stray tools in a box for a combo deal at one of the largest home based tool sales I've ever been at, and I missed out on day 1 !!. This box is 31" wide, 18" deep and 19" tall and weighs right at 123# empty!! Made by the Metal Box Company in Chicago in 1973, this thing is a brute of a tool chest. Not much on the internet about them, but it's tempting to keep this one and replace one of my other shop storage units. Just a couple of flaws in the top lid hinge and the chains appear to have been "aftermarket" additions. I put it on Craigslist, but not sure now if I wanna sell it. What say the tool chest gurus of the forum??
