Alemite of Chicago

Saturday I came home with a 10 1/2" nail puller--stamped from a 3/8" steel bar.
One side:  (outward facing triangle) ALEMITE CHICAGO U.S.A. (outward facing triangle)  0
Other:  MFG'D BY ALEMITE MFG, CORP.
I can find info only on Alemite, the grease fitting-related company.  No mention of their making tools of any sort.
Anyone out there have any information?
Oh, and I scored three Snap-on ratchets:  71-N, S-74, in 1/2" and F-70-M in 3/8".
I am too embarrassed to tell how little I paid for them.

I concur. I've only seen Alemite on grease guns and associated lube fittings and such.

I also agree with you guys, Alemite to me means grease guns and such. Not sure I understand what your tool looks like, you said it's made from a 3/8 bar but you refer to the outward facing triangle? a picture would sure help.Just a wild ass guess but is there any chance some body made a nail puller from the handle of a grease gun.

I've had Alemite ratchets. 1960's era. Don't know the history.

Gibsontool, the lettering on the back side is preceded and followed by an outward-facing triangle.  All that is followed by either 0 or O.  Either is possible.
And the spelling is correct: ALEMITE.
