« on: October 03, 2015, 11:40:02 AM »
From a nearby garage sale.  There was quite a lot of interesting tools but I had a low spending limit today - these cost $8.00.

Piston ring scraper marked only with PAT 2124757 Made In USA
Amalite tool - ignition tool?  What was this used for?
Craftsman ignition pliers in very nice condition
Kraeuter three position slip joint pliers # 356-10 chrome!
Stanley 46-050 aluminum rafter gauge?

Your yellow handle tool is for GM/Delco distributors, to service the points and condenser.
It fits the insulated block on the side of the distributer.

lostmind is correct on the aftermarket tool for servicing Delco Remy distributors. I have several stashed from my days of working  on pre 1963 Chevy 6 cylinder engines. Hence my name EvilDr235. A lot of people damaged the distributors because they didn't have the proper tool to do the job and tried to blame the car maker for their mistake.
