Garage sale gold
« on: July 24, 2015, 06:41:20 PM »
I hit pay dirt yesterday, all including the Craftsman tool box for $8...  Some of the goodies- two real nice bearing scrapers, Industro wrench 1 and 1 -1/4' , the small open end "Globe Master 5/16" " , Valve grinder speed handle, five nice old wrought iron spikes, three hog ring plyers, the long handled open end is marked " Wright Q11Q - 1" OP - 11'16" SAE maybe a Wright aircraft tool ??,  the bent handle open end is "Tappet adjusting wrench , Screw and Nut" , the looked thing just to the left is "Besco Batter Carrier - Battery Equipment Supply Co, Chicago" ... and other stuff.

Looks to be about 40 items in total, when I went to school they taught me that would be around 20 cents per piece. I'd say you hit gold, no doubt about it.

That crank handle looks like it may have come off a forge blower. The bearing scrapers are a nice find. I recently found one made by Plomb. looks like you did good.

What's that double headed plier? & looks like you have a saw set leaning on the box...

The double headed plyer is an unmarked hog ring plyer, handles two size rings. Yes, a saw set is leaning against the box.
How about the "Wright" wrench, what do you all think, Wright aircraft perhaps??

I have a set of Wright sockets, and a few like stamped wrenches, but you made a good haul there for the money.
