Hinsdale socket sets
« on: July 11, 2015, 09:14:37 AM »
I don't think I posted these up here yet. Picked these up a few weeks ago at a couple of estate sales. I think the first one is complete plus a couple of extras. The second one is missing a few.

I know this an old thread, but my post deals with a Hinsdale socket set so I figured I’d put it here.  Anyway, a few months ago I got started on a Hinsdale 1/2" drive, 4 point socket set.  As far as I know, the set consists of ten sockets.  I already have eight.  I'm missing the 9/16" and the 11/32" sockets.  I picked up a few duplicates along the way too.  If anyone else is trying to complete this set, send me a PM.

I finally completed the Hinsdale 1/2” drive, four point socket set.  The 11/32” socket turned up.

Those sockets could have gone to a set like thishttp://www.papawswrench.com/vboard/index.php?topic=25253.0 in case you are looking for a bigger adventure.

I think I have enough other tool collecting adventures going on.  I’ll just stick to the simple ten socket set and call it good!
