New From New Hampshire
« on: July 08, 2015, 10:36:18 AM »
Hi,

I collect all things old then research them to find out the history and whether I found some good gold to resell.   (Mostly I miss and keep.)  Being eclectic, I am always researching never ending different items focusing on none.  So therfore I have some old tools and a recent purchase that has lead me to here.  I will be posting my Belcher Bros & Co. New York * early * pattern maker's shrinkage rule.  I believe it, with my research, (i.e IMHO) to be quite rare and old.  circa early in the period of 1856 - 1877.

Regards,  Stoystown

hello Stoystown,  welcome to tool talk,   an interesting place to learn and teach about
the vast amount of past relics.

N.H. still has many hidden treasures to be discovered.

they love pictures here, which I have not mastered the the process of doing.

enjoy,  Frank,  from mid-Massachusetts

p.s. we had hunted in Pittsburg, N.H. in the early 60's,  nice area up that way.

Welcome to the forum.   Logging tools are rare in my parts, so very interesting stuff.

Hi, Welcome from sunny and HOT Florida...which is why I am currently in Maine, where the tool picking has been great, as usual.

Welcome to the group from Utah.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
