VINTAGE MICROMETER AND TAP & DIE SET
« on: January 19, 2015, 03:55:14 PM »
As I was trying to make an effort to clean and tidy up my house I found these two wooden boxes . One has a micrometer and the other has a tap & die set. The first one is a medium size micrometer made by Seidensticker. The only place it has this name is on the warranty slip inside the box. I've never heard of the company and only got one hit from Google. The wooden box is made from plywood so I'm not sue if it's original. Any thoughts on this ??

The Tap & Die set is made by Russel and Co. It's a nice little set with a broken tap in it.

These have been here long enough that I really don't remember where they came from.

I like the Mic.
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.
