Hello to those on this site,
Many years ago a comparison site selected the Sears drill motor as the best for the money. Since they were on sale at the time I bought one and subsequently bought another. One's clutch is out and when told the cost of repair I realized I coudl buy another one new for the same price when the shipping was added in.
Recently I used a Dewalt and also a Makita. Man was I impressed by their performance and how long the batteries lasted and how quickly they recharged. Since I have some major projects coming up I want to replace my present drill with a unit that is the best for the money, is well made, and the battery charges last for a long time. There are apparentlya lot of good ones out there. I would be pleased to learn about the best of the bunch, price wise!
Also- I am looking for tubular steel and aluminum sheeting and checker plate. The prices for these are criminal in New Mexico and I am willing to travel to acquire these products at a fair price.
Thanks in advance,
Gene So
