Since I'm bored today I looked up the C-Man sockets in the 1942 catalog and there is no 3/16" socket. Then I checked the 1949 catalog and there it was. What we need is a 1947 catalog to narrow it down more. A 1944-45 catalog would be even better (If there was one)
Since your set is an older -v- set, I would tend to go with the "there ain't none" theory.

LG

I have 2 of the 3/8 D Circle U you want, the 1/2 and 9/16.   Also have a 5/8.  I picked all three up somewhere, and have no others like them.   The only problem is that they had the name Roberts engraved on them.   They are yours for the cost of shipping, if you want them.  Let me know, and send a PM with your address, and I will send them to you.   You can send me back well concealed cash for the shipping amount on the package after you recieve them.

Scooter!

Welcome to the site!

Thank you very much for your kind offer! Naturally, it would be even better if they weren't engraved, but I'm very happy to find any matches at all!

Do you accept Canadian cash at par? ;)

PM to follow...

I was an old timer on old site, and have been busy since the site re-establishment.  Thank you for your welcome at any rate.   Not terribly concerned about the Canadian Cash,  I will just throw it in a jar and spend it my next trip to Montreal.  It doesn't work real well here in Texas, but I grew up in the northern states, and am accustomed seeing it.  And you can paypal me if you prefer.  The engraving may polish out some, it is not too bad.   Send me the PM with your address.
