Old jig saw

I was wondering if someone can help me out. Pick up an old Miller and. Ram Tooll jigsaw this week at an auction it was in a $1. Box.  Plug them both in and they work.  I can't get over how long the cords are... I guess back in the day they knew you didn't work right next to the outlet...Here are the model #   Ram F-8 10312

Miller.  Model A

Hope someone can help me out how old these are.

Thanks A lot. Jim

Pictures, including pictures of the machines' nameplates, would help.

No joke on the cord length... My massive Thor drill has 25' of cord on it! And it's heavy-duty stuff too! The cord is about an 3/4" in diameter with all the spongy insulation they put on it to protect the wires...

Porter-Cable, and probably others, used to offer long cords as an option, particularly on drywall and decking screwdrivers.  If I recall correctly, the cord was 50 feet.
