Two More Chunks of Steel
« on: August 28, 2011, 02:32:18 PM »
The one with the holes and slits in it is pretty small like the biggest hole is maybe 3/16" at best.  The other piece with the step grooves has a threaded hole in the middle of it.

TIA

Hexagonal one looks like wire and sheet-metal gauge block.  Other could be part of larger assembly, maybe part of a clamping or positioning device.

Hex one looks like a bench block, for bending or upsetting various small objects, forming wire ends, etc.

More views of the other would be helpful

The hex block is a jewelers bench anvil. For forming metals
The other is just a part off something.
